CakeAccessoryPlace will be willing to refund Customers for items returned (non-edible items only) as long as items are received in pristine condition. Refunds, when requested, are initiated within 1-3 business days. For payment made through flutterwave, once refund is initiated, we will send you a proof of refund initiation WHILE for direct bank transfers, we will send you a proof of payment via one of our platforms.

Our Refund offerings are in five categories:

1. If the item has left the store and it’s either on its way to be delivered to you or you have received the item and would like to return it, This refund shall be LESS 5% ADMINISTRATIVE CHARGE of the cost of Items returned AND FLUTTERWAVE TRANSACTION FEES. Please note that a refund shall only be completed after we have received the item and we confirm it is in pristine condition. DELIVERY FEES IN THIS CASE WILL NOT BE REFUNDED AS THE GOODS HAVE LEFT THE STORE.

2. If the item has left the store and it’s either on its way to be delivered to you or you have received the item and would like to return it and have it exchanged, you would either be paying a balance payment if any or the balance after exchange if any will be kept in your wallet for future transactions. THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS IN THIS CASE. However, if you insist, a refund will be made LESS 5% ADMINISTRATIVE CHARGE AND FLUTTERWAVE TRANSACTION FEES.

3. If an order has been placed and processed but is yet to be dispatched and you would like to cancel after you have paid on the website via flutterwave, a refund shall be made LESS 5% ADMINISTRATIVE CHARGE AND FLUTTERWAVE TRANSACTION FEES.

4.  If an order has been placed and processed but is yet to be dispatched and you would like to cancel after you have paid on the website via Direct Bank Transfer, a refund shall be made LESS 5% ADMINISTRATIVE CHARGE.

5.  If an order has been placed,  processed and dispatched and you would like to cancel after you have paid on the website via Direct Bank Transfer,  a refund shall be made LESS 5% ADMINISTRATIVE CHARGE EXCLUDING DELIVERY FEES. DELIVEREY FEES IN THIS CASE WILL NOT BE REFUNDED AS THE GOODS HAVE LEFT THE STORE.

We DO NOT offer full refunds for items that are simply unwanted by the customer due to a change of mind. All refunds if insisted on are LESS 5% ADMINISTRATIVE CHARGE AND BANK TRANSACTION FEES.

Finally, If a customer decides against a refund, the total amount  EXCLUDING FLUTTERWAVE CHARGES shall be credited to your Wallet which can be used in subsequent future purchases.

CapCraftShop – Refund & Cancellation Policy

All sales are final unless the error is on our end, as orders are made to order and often personalized. As each piece is custom-made, we do not offer refunds or exchanges.
  1. If a customer insists on a refund (in the case of a cancellation), a 10% administrative charge applies, along with all listed fees – Flutterwave, any transaction and bank processing fees.
  2. If a customer insists on a refund (in the case of changing from a delivery service to a pick up), a 5% administrative charge applies, along with all listed fees – Flutterwave, any transaction and bank processing fees. Otherwise, full delivery fees can be kept as store credit and used in a single transaction within a 12 month period.
 

Non-Refundable Fees

Design, shipping, and handling fees are strictly non-refundable at all times. This covers our time, materials, and creative effort.

Cancellation & Refund Timeline

  • Cancel within 1 hour of payment: Full refund (minus transaction fees). Refund timeline: 1–3 business days.
  • After 1 hour but before materials are sourced (typically within 1 business day): 10% administrative charge applies, plus transaction & processing fees. Refund timeline: 1–3 business days.
  • After materials have been sourced but before production starts: Up to 50% refund, depending on the cost of materials and work done. Funds used in purchasing materials would be deducted and thus determine overall percentage refund. Transaction and processing fees will also be deducted.

  • Once production begins (i.e., design shared or crafting started): No refunds or cancellations allowed.

Order Changes

Minor changes (color, font, text) are allowed free of charge within 1 business day. After this period, changes will attract a redesign fee, based on complexity.

Defective or Incorrect Items

 If you receive a faulty or incorrect custom item, please notify us within 1 business day with clear photos. We’ll offer either a free remake, store credit, or a partial refund (excluding design/material fees), depending on the issue.

Refund Exceptions

A full refund (minus fees) will only be issued if CapCraftShop cancels your order due to:

  •  Breach of agreement
  •  Misuse of our intellectual property
  •  Unreasonable or abusive behavior

Store Credit

Approved credits from cancellations or disputes, are valid for 12 months and must be used in one transaction.
